Who We Are

BOPS (Band and Orchestra Parents for Students) exists to support the Dominion High School band and orchestra programs through fundraising and volunteer activities. Proceeds from our fundraising efforts go toward providing music instruction through the DREAM Program, financial assistance for students in need, purchasing new instruments, attire, and performance materials, and reducing individual costs for band-related travel for competitions and music program trips. As the parent of a band or orchestra student, you are automatically a member of BOPS.

BOPS parent volunteers are the backbone of the operation. Our band and orchestra programs could not provide the variety of valuable experiences and assistance to our students without parent participation and support. There are many different ways you can get involved, so be on the lookout for our Newsletters and Sign Up Genius notifications for upcoming opportunities! 

We hope that all our band parents will join the directors of the band and orchestra and the BOPS Board of Directors in helping to make this a memorable year for our students.
